I'M MYAH SHELTOn

I'm a theatre artist, more specifically, a director, choreographer, teacher, and arts administrator based in Chicago, IL and Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region.

I'M committed to:

  • Creating musical theatre that is accessible as possible to as many people as possible, particularly those who have historically been excluded from the traditions of American musical theatre.

  • ​

AND

  • Educating the next generation of theatre artists in a way that is productive, sustainable, and joyful.

Choreographer/Assistant Director of Grace and The Butterfly Effect, Northwestern University's Fall Mainstage Production. 

Graduating from Northwestern University in Spring of 2027 with a B.S. in Theatre and minors in Dance and Legal Studies.
